Connor enjoyed being on someone else's turf. He loved Ben's bouncer. Anything new is cool and this was no different. He sat and batted at it, enabling us to eat our lunch. Ben is a big boy and eats solid food now in a high chair and even he got to eat lunch too.
Connor also liked to swap stories with Ben about how life changes big time by the time you are 9 months. Ben told him tales of holding his head up, sitting up, crawling, and his newest trick...pulling himself up. Ok, so maybe it was the mommies swapping stories, but Ben certainly seemed a lot more interested in Connor this time and Sherri and I are certain that some day they may actually be friends.
Like last time, it was really nice to have another Mommy to talk to and share war stories with. I think we have a lot in common as far as our mothering styles, so I know I can learn a lot from her experience. She's certainly raised a real cutie in Ben. We hope to make these little get togethers a pretty regular thing.
Happy Ben eating like a big boy. While I am not excited about Connor growing older, since he's just so cute as a baby, I am looking forward to the baby food stage. We'll see when I actually get there, but for now, I imagine it being fun.
