Bryan-College Station Fun

We've visited Grandma and Grandpa's house a few times in the past couple of months. First, was for Labor Day and next was when Daddy was dove hunting and Connor and I were flying solo.

Labor day was a fun filled weekend with my sister and her family. We all get along so well and Connor loves to follow his cousins around. My parents weren't back yet from Loon Lake, so we had the whole place to ourselves. We swam, made yummy food, and kicked off college football with a bang.

The following weekend, Connor and I drove up to Grandma and Grandpa's house, so I could get a little assistance with the big man. It was another warm weekend, so we had some fun pool time and just quality time with Grandma and Grandpa. My Dad is basically a big kid, so Connor seems to gravitate towards him. It's cute to see. Of course Connor always seems to gravitate towards men, but I guess he's just a guys guy.

Here are some pics from our BCS visits.

Connor showing off his swimsuit style.

My sister Erin made a delicious Texas sheet cake and her daughter Libby was the official taste tester.

Everyone happily swimming on another hot Texas day. Check out Connor floating by himself with Daddy. I love how much he enjoys the pool now.

Connor was so brave. He actually jumped from the spa into the pool (of course Daddy caught him).

Connor gets to sleep in a big boy bed at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

On Sunday morning, the kiddos ate donuts and watched some cartoons.

Lounging and snacking poolside. This is the life.

Connor and Libby - happy cousins eating watermelon. Hot days in Texas have some benefits.

Monday morning was actually pretty mild, so we took advantage of the weather and went to the park.

The following weekend, we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and had lots of fun in the "bubbly pool."

Having an ice cream cone at Grandma and Grandpa's. He's spoiled rotten.

We took a ride around the golf course before the big Michigan v. Notre Dame game. It turns out, it must have been a lucky ride, because we won!

Another view with the golf club in the background. What fun.

Firestation Fun

Again, I apologize for the delay in posting. I feel like I've been really busy since we got back from Loon Lake, but I will do my best to give you your Connor fix. :)

A few weeks ago, my Mom's group took a trip to the fire station. Connor was a little scared of the fireman when he got all his gear on, but the guy inside was super nice so I think he warmed up after a while.

We also got to tour the fire station and get in a fire truck. Connor also pumped some iron like a real fireman.

On a side note, I am happy to report that Connor has finally poked all his 2 year molars through. Now, the bottom two are still on the move, so he's still a little cranky about it, but I think we're almost done. Yay, no more teething for a while. Mommy is happy and I'm sure poor Connor growing teeth must be happy too.

The fireman showing the kids that he's really a nice guy behind that scary mask.

Connor showing off his new fire hat.

Connor in awe of the firetruck.

All the kids could touch the parts of the firetruck.

Connor posing inside the driver's cab of the fire truck.

I love Connor's face in this picture. What a tough guy.

Connor working on his guns. Ha!

Now a little time at the punching bag.
