Jeff was out of town for work, so Connor and I went to Austin to see my sister and her family. Connor just loved being around his cousins and he REALLY loves his Aunt Erin, so it was a great weekend for him and for me. It was really cute, because it was the first time that he actually laughed at his cousin's actions. It was adorable. It also seems like Connor is playing more with his cousins and not just near them. I love that he's becoming more aware.
I also had a blast, because not only did Connor get some playmates (other than boring Mommy) over the weekend, I got some playmates too. I love hanging out with my sister and her husband. They always cook the best meals, and we always seem to stay up way too late laughing and talking. Even though we're tired in the morning when we get our baby wake up calls, it's still all worth it.
This week was fun too, because we all got to meet our dear friends' newest baby, 4 day old Nicholas Joseph Zaccari. It was so great to see a newborn again. You forget how tiny they are...and how much they sleep. I did get to see him wake up for a bit, but he was sleeping peacefully most of the time and he is absolutely precious.
While he slept, Connor and big sister (2 year old Allison), played. It was really sweet, because at one point, Allison got down on her knees and crawled around and Connor followed her. I guess he's already chasing the ladies. Oh no! Allison loves Connor so they always have fun together.
This will probably be a little bit of a hectic week as I am doing preps for Connor's first birthday on Saturday. The good news though is that I am so wrapped up in preparing for his party, I can't get sad about the fact that my little baby boy is already turning one and is no longer a baby, but actually a toddler. I love him so much and I know that he needs to grow up, but it is true what they say, it goes by so fast. I am trying my best to cherish it.

After work one day this week, we took some Daddy and son pics. Connor was in a jovial mood, so we got some good ones. I was able to get him to smile by growling at him. Who knows.
A precious moment. Allison seems to be a good big sister and Lindsey is doing so well balancing between her two kids.
Jeff wanted to offer Connor a mini taco at dinner, and since we thought it was kind of funny, we documented the experience.
