Let's get this party started

5 Weeks Pregnant...oh the good old days.

34 Weeks Pregnant...yeah, something's different.

Jeff and I last week at a charity event.

So away we go! We want to welcome everyone to our baby blog. Bear with us as this is our first time blogging (yes, I'm proud of my technical skills).

Currently, the name of our blog is The TJ Chronicles. TJ stands for Treadway Junior, which is the pet name we have given our little one since we do not know the gender of the baby. Once the baby arrives (around June 11th), we'll update the name to match our baby's name. Yes, very captivating stuff here.

Currently, I am 37 weeks, 5 days pregnant. Yes, I'm counting, but I think most ladies in my position would be. I'm feeling good, but wouldn't mind so much if this baby made his or her grand appearance any day now. This belly, which I have likened to one of those inflatable exercise balls, is getting a bit uncomfortable these days. Plus, having my old feet back wouldn't be so bad either. These puffy cankles are not so cute.

For the most part though, I have had a pretty smooth pregnancy and I am just really excited to start our new little family. My mind is filled with questions like, "When will this baby come?" and "What gender will he or she be?" and "What will he or she look like?" and "Will I ever have a waistline again?"

I will do my best to update this blog regularly and keep you informed on all the up's and down's of our new life as parents, including all the exciting "firsts" our little one has.
